Gambhir: We just didn’t play well in the first game, we assessed this pitch well this time around. Batting with Sehwag is great fun, he makes your job a lot easier. Nannes bowled well for us in South Africa too. Karthik paced his innings brilliantly to give us a wonderful total.
Mubarak: We gave them fifty runs too many, we left ourselves with a little too much towards the end. Mahela played really well. The conditions didn’t change much, the opposition bowled much better, plain and simple.
Sehwag, the Man of the Match: I tried really hard, I knew that the wicket was slow and I wanted to be there for fifteen overs. I got loose deliveries and I made use of them in the first six overs.
